Gia Darling of Gialicious was born in Guatemala and adopted by a single mother when she was two years old. At three, she moved with her mother to Valencia, California and from the age of 15 and on, she dressed and lived as a female. At first, she came out as “gay” because she didn’t know there was any such thing as a transsexual. Then, when she was 16, she saw a beautiful girl on television who used to be a boy and realized what was going on with her. She’s appeared on the Great Britian’s BBC, participated in televised interviews on Paris’ Canal 11, and England’s Disinformation. She’s also appeared on Howard Stern, Maury Povich, The Jerry Springer Show, Sally, Donohue, Jenny Jones, Dr. 90210, Marilyn Kagen, Gordon Elliot, The Man Show, Cristina, El gordo y la Flaca, Los Angeles al Dia, Los Meiches, Maria Laria, Glitter Girls (documentary),  Playboy TV (transsexuals in Brazil), KCAL 9 News, Talk Soup, E!, I Want a Famous Face (MTV) and The Tyra Banks Show.

Gia’s print media features include Newsweek, The Globe, News of the World (UK), People en Espanol (US), and she was Penthouse and Hustler magazine’s first transsexual ever to be published. She won the Transexual Performer of the Year AVN Award in 2006. She was one of the founders of Androgyny Productions and she owns and operates Gia Darling Entertainment after having walked away from a lucrative contract to produce her “Transsexual Heartbreakers” hit hardcore film series. The company releases one movie a month and there are two offices; one in California and one in Rio, Brazil. Originally, she had to commute back and forth to work on cast productions, but now that the Rio office has been running for a few years, her work is less stressful and her schedule is no longer as hectic. In some of her films, she only hosts and in others, she performs, but she’s in everything put out by her company and if it’s from Gia Darling Entertainment, you’ll see her in it somewhere.

Gialicious is a site dedicated to Gia Darling in XXX situations. Gia, one of the most financially successful of tgirl porn stars shares pictures, thoughts and her favorite movie clips with all her members. The Photos section has over 88 photo sets with about 50 images per set of Gia in various shoots. This same section also allows navigation to a Magazines area that displays publications that feature our resident sweetheart; periodicals such as Leg Sex, Transformation and Hustler. One of these additional feed sites contains some more of Gia’s film work. No new content has been added to Gia’s blog lately and updates are not as frequent as I’d expect from the official website of an industry icon. Then again, there aren’t many stars like Gia who are as exciting to view.

I found this superstar‘s site extremely enjoyable. There’s a $1.00 trial membership but you won’t get full access to the content. Skip it and go for the $29.95 30 day membership if you’re a true Gia fan or wait for a price break.

I’ve seen the membership go as low as $19.99 and times are hard so I can understand why even the most hardcore Darling fans might want to sit things out until notified of a discount, by yours truly of course.
