Caramel: Congratulations on your new website, Tiffany! From the way I see things, you’ve entered adult entertainment at the top of the food chain with SMC Productions and the launch of TiffanyStarrXXX.com.
I had the chance to chat with you briefly before you made the leap into porn full time and I can’t remember why you were reluctant about it at first. I’d seen your photos before the professional images were done and there was no doubt in my mind that you’d be a major hit. So I guess my first question is, why now? What were you waiting for?
Tiffany: First off, thank you, I love SMC Productions and they have offered me a contract with them. I will take them up on that offer. At the time, I was going through some personal stuff. I had a great girlfriend and she was against the whole porn industry. I didn’t want to lose her, but I still had the urge to do porn.
I also was going through a struggle thinking if I want to be out there online and on DVDs nude forever, or if I would prefer a quiet life and be an example that not all trans girls have to do porn. After finally confronting my feelings and having lost my girlfriend, I felt it was the right time to do the adult film. I’m still young, still attractive and I plan on making porn and pleasing fans and friends for a long time.
Caramel: I’m sorry about the breakup. But I’m glad that you’re serious about making a long-lasting career out of this.
Tiffany: Yes, I plan on doing porn for a long time. I’ve met so many new friends, traveled to places I’ve never been, and had a lot of fun doing my work. I also love to please my fans and I want to continue. Plus since SMC Productions wants me. I feel it’s an opportunity I shouldn’t miss.
Caramel: You must be getting flooded with an outrageous amount of fan mail. More than ever before. Is it tough to keep up with?
Tiffany: I am still fairly new in the porn industry. I’ve only been around for a month, but I’ve done a lot in the month and have quite a few followers and fans already. It can be hard to keep up with the mail, but I try my best.
I love my fans and not enough porn stars show them consideration. We are nothing without our fans. No fans, no demand for your work. So I try to treat them well and talk to them as often as possible. I created many ways for fans to get in contact with me and hope they utilize them.
Caramel: I have no doubt that they will and I admire the fact that you know appreciate your fans and reach out to them. I’m so glad that you don’t behave like an unattainable diva. So, do you have any particular role models, or other trans women in the business you look up to?
Tiffany: No, I don’t really have any role models. It was something I always wanted to do and knew I could do it if I tried. There are some girls in the industry I feel I owe for helping me break into the community such as Amy Daly, and Kitty Kaiti for their support and help on how to start my career. I love those girls. 🙂
Caramel: Those are two amazing ladies. How old were you when you first began to recognize your transgender identity?
Tiffany: I was five years old. At the time I was so young and though I knew I was different, I wasn’t quite sure how. It wasn’t until my teen years that I figured it out and how to go through the process. At the time, I had a fiance and I was torn on what to do, but I couldn’t deny myself who I was and we split. I transitioned in less than one year after that. I started to do something about it at age 16, I transitioned late 17, and early 18, but I wasn’t happy with myself until late 19, or early 20.
Caramel: You’re a self-described geeky girl who is into video games, comics, anime, and the sci-fi/fantasy genre. How do these interests play into your everyday life and relationships? In other words, is it safe to say that if someone is interested in you, it’s pretty much a deal breaker if they don’t share some of these interests?
Tiffany: I would say that if I’m going to date someone or have a g/f or b/f, it would be preferable if they had similar interests. I’m a huge gamer chick with over 3,000 video games and I love to play them during my spare time which I have a lot less of now. I also love to go to conventions and I go to Anime Boston every year. I am a geeky girl even though I don’t look or dress like the stereotypical geek. I play D&D, and Magic the Gathering, and love to role play which is something I take in bed with me. 😉
Caramel: Are you still pursuing a degree in Marketing, or is a school on the back burner for now?
Tiffany: School is important to me, I want to finish it though I have to admit I worry because with all the traveling I’ll be doing, both porn and my school will be in each other’s way. I’m trying to figure out a way to do both but the only way I can see that happening is if I move to L.A., which is what I want to do. I will be attending only two classes this semester in hopes of not getting in the way of much of my porn career.
Caramel: In relationships, are you usually the one to take the lead? Would you go as far as to say that you’re basically dominant?
Tiffany: It depends. I am mostly into women (both biological and trans) and if I’m with a woman, I like to switch. I love women and have no trouble being more dominant or submissive but generally things are pretty equal. Sexually I will top or bottom to/with a woman. If I were to be with a guy, I would be strictly submissive in bed, but dominant out of it.
Caramel: How have your webcam shows been going? I know the main point is to turn on others, but do they still excite you as well?
Tiffany: Webcamming is slow at the moment for 2 reasons. 1. I just went on a trip to L.A. and came back. So I was gone for a week or so. 2. I want to switch to iFriends or Streammate instead of Cam4 and the transition is a bit of a pain. But I plan to be on webcam Monday for my fans on Cam4 to start up the webcam biz again.
Caramel: I’ve just seen your work the amazing Amy Daly. Your trans lesbian hardcore set was incredible. How did the two of you hook up?
Tiffany: We hooked up on Facebook. I was just starting to get into the career and needed some direction. Amy Daly, being the nice girl she is, saw my message and decided to help me by giving me some guidance and some info. She suggested that I come do some work for her site and how could I say no right? I love women and I owe her so It was obvious I would say yes. So we planned a date and I flew to L.A. last week and we did our hot shoot the day I landed!
Caramel: You’ve done some work with the legendary Joey Silvera, too?
Tiffany: Yes I did a shoot for him, I was the teacher teaching Transsexual Masturbation 101. It was a great scene, and Joey was very nice and he seemed to like me a lot. It was a pleasure to meet him, and I would love to work with him again. I’ll be back in LA in late September after I’m done with Wendy Williams’ party. It’s a cramped schedule but I’m sure I can manage it.
Caramel: What is the state of the transgender scene in Boston these days? Where do you like to party and what kind of music are you into?
Tiffany: I feel like the transgender community here is a little more accepted, though you still have those who dislike what they don’t care to understand. Massachusetts has some great laws for us over here. You can get the F on your license without having to go through SRS, There are many places that support and help trans folk like Fenway Community Health which specializes in trans folk. That’s where I get my estrogen and that’s where my doctor works.
I don’t usually have any issues since I pass pretty well and if someone recognizes me, it was probably cause they were looking me up Lol. I was also on the radio in Boston. WAAF 107.3 The Rock of Boston is a popular radio station there. I have a video and a recording of my visit there and that helped with awareness as well. I love to go out to nightclubs in Boston.
I usually go to The Machine, or TT The Bears, or The Roxy. But my favorite place is Pure which is a lesbian club. I usually never leave the club without making out with at least one girl. The kind of music I am into is Rock/Metal mostly because most people usually see me as a girly girl pop princess which couldn’t be farther from the truth. I also like some Trance/Techno stuff while I’m at a club to dance to.
Caramel: The first premier website you appeared at was Grooby Girls and you’ll be Girl of the Month in September. Congratulations! You’ve also done a hardcore scene for TGirl Pornstar. One last question for you is what advice would you have for a young transgender girl who’s often told she should break into adult entertainment.
Tiffany: I would say to get your name out there. Circulate some free samples, post on a lot of popular boards, and do a few cam shows. People will pay more and want more of a popular girl. So get your name out there. While you’re doing this, make sure to try and get in contact with major porn companies. I feel the best place to start is Grooby Girls.
You have to be willing to invest a little money to make a little money. I spent about 1,000 on my tickets and shoot items when I went to L.A. and I came back with 3,800 bucks. It won’t always be like that, but it also helped get my name out there.
